Clever concept, sloppy execution

One the one hand, lots of the dialogue really lacks depth, is hackneyed and cliched (How many lead characters mug the camera and say "I hate my life"?). Gross-out humor and balls-out puerile sex jokes are rampant, and animation and art are choppy and in some places just plain awful.

On the other hand, many times I laughed out loud despite myself. In some places dead-on visual timing makes the audaciously crude joke work, and perfect soundtrack timing helps even better (angel changing the radio, anyone?). The anything-goes attitude keeps you guessing (and keeps you watching): What will they pull of their asses next?

Great "animated comic"

Sure it's no-frills for a 'movie' (more on that in a bit) but there's sharp wit at work here. The text speed was not a problem for me, though I am running this on a Mac so Flash runs slower for me. If you've played any of the mega man games at least once you'll get a kick out of it, no prob.

Oh yeah, I don't look at this like a movie, I look at it as a medium I think it more closely resembles: the comic. The emphasis is on the dialogue and the minimal, easily-recognized gestures of the characters, rather than the fancy visual effects and such that movies provide. Later on the series gets more movie-like if that's your thing.

incredible! It was exactly like playing a neo-geo game, not just the appearance and sound, but the timing of the animations and sound as well - the integral part of flash game emulation that most people miss. Everything also fits together perfectly into a seamless whole, nothing appears cut-out or aliased incorrectly.
And though the game mechanics are simple they are surprisingly fun and addictive. You picked a fun game to emulate here.
